A bookplate design showing two women sitting and one standing in front of a whare with an elaborately carved front porch. The whole is surrounded by a border using Maori carving designs.
Original drawing for this bookplate is at A-136-013
The artist may be Herbert Williams, a close friend of Turnbull's, who printed another bookplate for Turnbull on his Te Rau Press. 'Praetorius' is almost certainly a pseudonym.
