Children competing in the calf club championships, Morrinsville. The mayor, Mr Osborne, is about to present the trophies. The young girl third in from left with her jersey calf is Gwyneth Margaret Davies from Kereone District School. Her mother, Gladys Irene Davies, stands by the door of the truck, with her hat at an angle. Two along from Gladys Davies, wearing a dark patterned dress, is Mrs McIntyre, standing by her husband. Taken by an unidentified photographer in about 1937.

Gwyneth Margaret Davies won a cup for the Morrinsville Calf Club 1937 Best Reared Calf. The McIntyre family were still living and farming in the Kereone area in 2011.
