Ode composed by an unknown author in honour of Captain Henry King, and sung at the dinner given the first settlers, prior to sailing to New Zealand, 1840. Manuscript notes in the heading `Air - Hardy Tar'. Manuscript is annotated `Holsworthy - Oct 27th 1840'. King worked the Bude and Holsworthy Canal as a barge master, hence it is likely the dinner was held in the town of Holsworthy.
