Shows a profile head and shoulders portrait of the Ngati Toa chief Te Rauparaha, wearing a cloak, albatross feather earring, and feather in his hair. He has full moko. Same hand as A-114-046. See also Bett Collection (A-114-052/056) A copy after Nelson artist, Isaac Coates, who is likely to have met Te Rauparaha in Nelson in March 1843.
