Looking along the Whanganui River with the township of Manunui in the distance. Photograph taken by William A Price between 1908 and 1915.
Note on back of file print reads: "...NOT Ongarue River, as inscription on photo says - Manunui is on the banks of the Wanganui. "
Dated from the fact that Ellis & Burnand's Manunui Sawmill was burnt down about 1915, and it is just visible centre left.
