Shows Robert Muldoon walking away, having slammed the door of the National Party, and leaving behind him a trail of papers entitled: My Way, Springbok tour, Clyde Dam, NZ the way you want it, Think Big, Jack Marshall stabb[ing], Snap election, Super handout, Wage & Price freeze. Refers to his resignation from the National party in 1991.
Exhibited in 'A Bit of Cheek: The Many Faces of Muldoon' an exhibition organised by the New Zealand Cartoon Archive Trust in association with the Alexander Turnbull Library, late 1992-1994.
Dated 1992, probably by the cartoonist, but may have been drawn late in 1991.
