Description

Shows a scene from 13.8 billion years ago, a few seconds before the creation of our universe. Two alien creatures in lab coats stand beside a Large Hadron Particle Collider preparing to fire it up. They are keen to see what happens. Refers to the firing up of the Large Hadron Particle Collider in Cern on September 10th, 2008. It was described as the biggest physics experiment ever. It fired two beams of protons in opposite directions around a 17-mile underground ring in what scientists hope is the next great step to understanding the makeup of the universe. The implication of the cartoon is that the LHPC can create new universes.
