Scenes in the East Coast, Coromandel and Northland, taken in 1899 during visits by Lord Ranfurly, by unknown photographers.

The top photograph (PA1-f-195-64-1) shows Te Tokanganui A Noho meeting house, Te Kuiti.

The photograph in the 4th row (PA1-f-195-55-2) shows a group at St Paul's, Whangaroa.

The photograph in the 3rd row, left, shows a welcoming party at Kawa Kawa, Hicks Bay.

The photograph in the 3rd row, right (PA1-f-195-64-4) shows a haka party at a marae near Gisborne.

The photograph in the 2nd row, left (PA1-f-195-64-5) shows an official party at a meeting house near Gisborne. Lord Ranfurly is standing near the right of the group.

The photograph in the 2nd row, right (PA1-f-195-64-6) shows a group in front of a kauri log, Kaihu forest. Captain Collin Post of the Tutanekai is standing 3rd from left. Richard John Seddon is 4th from left, and James Carroll is 5th from left.

The photograph in the bottom row, left (PA1-f-195-64-7) is a view of Coromandel.

The photograph in the bottom row, right (PA1-f-195-64-8) shows a group at Waitangi. Hone Heke MP is standing 4th from left. James Carroll is standing 6th from left, wearing a bowler hat. Richard John Seddon is standing 8th from left. Charles Hill-Trevor is standing 9th from left, with his hand to his face, wearing a top hat.
