Includes survey maps of the area including an 1918 one by H J Wylde, and an undated plan showing Rangiotu Village bounded by State Highway 56 and the Oroua River. The Beard plan shows a layout of the proposed playing field with a speedway around the edge of it, a polo field, school, tennis courts, and the adjacent Hikatoto burial ground and Te Rangimarie Marae on State Highway 56. At the top is a diagram of the sound emanating from the speedway, varying depending on whether or not there is a sound barrier constructed.
