Description

The cartoon shows PM John Key digging a hole in a hillside of cut-down forest. Nearby is a television with a cracked screen and a computer half buried in earth. The article it accompanied was written by Colin James and questioned whether the government was focussing too much on 'gold and oil strikes' at the expense of encouraging 'what was between the ears'. The cartoon suggests that Key is mining at the expense of technology.
