The cartoon shows Captain Cook with his head protruding above a screen. He looks anguished as a doctor and a nurse 'look at' his breastwork and piles. Refers to repairs being made to the statue of Captain Cook in the Port of Auckland. Extensive concrete repair works are underway beneath the Captain Cook Breastwork. At present, repairs are being undertaken to the piles, beams and slab underside.
