- Description
Shows Finance Minister, Arnold Nordmeyer, working as an assistant at a petrol pump. A farm truck laden with urgent exports has pulled up and he asks the farmer if he should 'Fill her up'. The pump which has printed on it the words 'Nordiegas with inflation additive 4/2 gallon. The Prime Minister, Walter Nash, leans against the petrol pump sucking acid drops as the pump chimes 'sting! sting! sting!. Refers to Arnold Nordmeyer's black budget and economic programme.
