- Description
Looking west from Worser Bay towards the harbour, Somes Island and the western hills. The pilot station, three other houses and a boat shed are on the left, close to the beach. A bather wearing a long-legged costume is emerging from the sea onto the rocky beach in the foreground
Dated 1870s because of the small number of buildings present in the area, and the lack of a road over the hill towards the end. The road went in in the 1880s. By 1877 there were signal stations, not recorded here.
