Description

Three cricketers stand on the pitch waiting for the last batsman who is a rabbit (an Easter bunny?) One says 'Boy oh boy - the tail-end at last!' Context - today is April Fools' Day, Saturday 1 April 1950. Easter Sunday is 9 April. The cartoon probably refers to the article on page 15 entitled 'Reid out on his own - sterling innings - Australia v Wellington' the match at the Basin Reserve.
