The upper image shows a humorous pencil sketch of a naked man covered by a towel over his abdomen, lying on a bed of ice, with an electric fan directed on to him, a shower raining down from the ceiling, a champagne bucket on the tale beside him, and a very long cigar holder (the length of the bed, propped up so that the mouthpiece is in his mouth and the cigar is above his feet. This is another version of the sketch at E-288-q-004 - "How to keep cool in Mesopotamia".
The lower image is a watercolour showing a single-masted sailboat alongside the bank in the foreground, against a pale red sky around sunset.
