Description: Original survey plan showing topographical features divided into grids from Mangaroa and Manganui Creek eastwards to Mt. Heal and southwards to Ash Hill. Shows blocks 2-3, 6-7, 10-11, Mangahao Survey District. Includes roads, Maori tracks, Baker's tracks and contour lines. Features the Mangaone Stream with various named creeks, and the Coach Road near the Hawera trig point. Accompanying map is a log of the Mangahau Survey District, Blocks XIV-XII, sheet 2, (see MapColl-832.45bf/[ca. 1881]/Acc.28698). Map edges have been trimmed. Inscriptions: Verso - bottom left - Signature of E. Bellairis and date 28.1.81; Verso - centre right - Signature of M? or Nat? Baker in pencil Quantity: 1 manuscript map(s). 1 survey log.
