The original owner of Dunkeld at Beaumont was Robert Wood from Scotland who purchased 21,500 acres in 1886 (Crookston Survey District). In 2005 the property was owned by his great-grandson Robert Wood & his wife Deborah.
Awarded the New Zealand Century Farm and Station award to mark over 100 years of continuous ownership by one family.
