Fairfax Media Limited, is one of Australasia's largest diversified media companies, operating business divisions in Australia and New Zealand in print, radio, and digital media.

It is the parent company for Fairfax New Zealand Limited which was founded in 2003, and was previously known as Fairfax New Zealand Holdings Limited.

It was named Fairfax Media Limited in November 2006, a name change from John Fairfax Holdings Limited, although activities of the company were unchanged.
