- View looking along the beach at Pipitewai Bay. A large wooden dwelling can be seen close to the foreshore (possibly the Awaawaroa Guesthouse, and/or the Gordon family homestead). People can be seen walking along the beach and sitting on the beach in front of the white picket fence which separates the house from the beach. A yacht is anchored close to the water's edge and a man is sitting in a row boat close to the shore. Photographed by William Archer Price in early 1900s.
