Ferris, Pam, 1948-

Actress born in Germany of Welsh parents, she moved with her family back to Wales in 1952, and then to New Zealand in 1962. In her teens she lived in Christchurch and participated in drama productions there. From 1968-1971 she performed at Mercury Theatre, Auckland, and in 1971 received a Queen Elizabeth Arts Council bursary to travel to England for stage experience. From the 1970s, she was working in London, and also acted in many television dramas.
