Reid, Phil, 1954-

Press photographer. Began career 1971 as cadet photographer on The Dominion, then moved to the Evening Post. After travel overseas he returned to the Evening Post and was appointed Chief Photographer in 1995. In 2006 was Chief Photographer for The Dominion Post. He has photographed the 1981 Springbok tour, three Commonwealth Games and the 2000 Sydney Olympics. In 2004 he accompanied Sir Edmund Hillary's visit to Antarctica.
