Fonterra Co-operative Group

New Zealand multinational company which manufactures and exports New Zealand dairy products and is co-operatively owned by 13,000 New Zealand supplier shareholders. Established in October 2001 following the merger of the country's two largest dairy co-operatives, New Zealand Dairy Group and Kiwi Cooperative Daires, with the New Zealand Dairy Board.
