Plimmer, John Alfred, 1846?-1937

Son of John Plimmer (1812-1905). Director of the Wellington & Manawatu Railway Co in 1907. One of the first vestrymen at St Mark's Church, Wellington; and choirmaster 1877-1878, 1891, and when needed. (See photograph album "St Marks' Parish", PA1-o-453, p 19). Married Anna (d 1919), daughter of William Packard. Died in Feb 1937 and buried in family plot in Bolton Street Cemetery, Wellington. Obituary in Dominion 1 Mar 1937, p 10. Lived in Khandallah.
