Came to New Zealand from Vienna in 1939 with the architect Ernst Plischke and a son from her first marriage, Henry George Lang (1919-1997). Daughter of a Jewish merchant Hugo Schwitzer and Hedwig Nossal. Completed an arts degree at Vienna; married businessman Robert Lang. Divorced 1935; married Ernst. Had experience in landscape gardening in Vienna; as Ernst took on commissions for houses in Wellington she landscaped their gardens. Died in Vienna.
