Macdonald, Kennedy, 1847-1914

Businessman, politician. Husband of Frances Rossiter (1850?-1921); and father of Thomas Aitken Macdonald (1872?-1876), Allan Rossiter Macdonald (1871?-1876) and Rowland Angus Macdonald (1873?-1876). President of the Caledonian Society of Wellington in 1889. Supervising valuer for Wellington, Marlborough, Nelson and Westland in 1897. See also DNZB (Vol 2, pp282-283). Personal papers held at Archives New Zealand. Buried in the family plot at Sydney Street Cemetery, Wellington.
