Political activist, involved in the following campaigns: Protest against the "Truxton" 1980, 1982; Protest against the "Texas", November 1983; Peace trek against USS "Wadsworth", "Whipple", etc, 1984; ANZUS controversy 1985-86; Nuclear free Legislation 1987; Beech Action Committee 1987-88; No Frigate campaign 1988-89; Waihopai campaign; Gulf War, late 1990-early 1991; MMP campaign; Native Forest Action 1997-1999. Wrote "Secret power" 1996, about the Government Communications Security Bureau (GCSB). Wrote "Secrets and lies" (1999) about anti-environmental PR campaigns. Involved with Peace Movement Aotearoa.
