Karori Hotel (Wellington, N.Z.)

Established on Tinakori Road in the early 1860s and was the first hotel in the southern end of Thorndon. Its name was a reference to the traffic to and from Karori, then an outlying farming area. Name transcribed from back of file print of 1/2-027926.
