Description

Wallace Street, Mt Cook, Wellington, being widened for trams in 1925. A group of construction workers are in the foreground. Prior to this time, the tramway went only as far as Howard Street.

No 149 is on the right, marked with a cross. Both 149 and the house next door were built by Ovid Dempsey.
