Description

Shows a group outside a whare. From left to right back: Te Rangikatukua, Mita Taupopoki, Iharaira Hikairo, Makareti (Maggie) Papakura, Hekemaru Kaiawha, Tutanekai Haerehuka. Gilbert Mair is in front. Mita Taupopoki, Hekemaru Kaiawha and Gilbert Mair hold patu. Te Rangikatukua and Tutanekai Haerehuka hold Taiaha. Iharaira Hikairo holds a Tewhatewha. Photograph taken by Samuel Heath Head during the New Zealand International Exhibition in Christchurch in 1906/07.
