Brash, Don, 1940-

Son of Rev. Alan Anderson Brash and Eljean Ivory Brash. Governor, Reserve Bank of New Zealand, 1988-2002, when he became an M. P. and the National Party's finance spokesperson in Parliament. Replaced Bill English as Leader of the Opposition in October 2003 until November 2006. He resigned from Parliament in February 2007.
