Wooden sailing ship of 1220 tons, built in 1856. See White Wings' by Sir Henry Brett (Vol 1, p 62-64). Her first visit to New Zealand was in 1873, and on her second voyage to New Zealand en route to Auckland she was burnt at sea near the Cape of Good Hope, in November 1874, with the loss of 480 lives (see File print 387.
