Deluxe Theatre (Wellington, N.Z.)

Designed by Llewellyn E. Williams. Cecil B. DeMille's "The Ten Commandments" screened at its opening on Friday 31 October 1924. The auditorium had seating for over 1800 and was hailed as the "finest theatre under the Southern Cross". It was bought by Kerridge Odeon in 1945 and renamed the Embassy.
