Mihaka, Dun, 1942-, Mihaka, Nathan Dun, 1942-

Political activist, advocate for the rights of Māori, author, and political candidate. Known as Dun Mihaka and Nathan Dun Mihaka. Has written books on Māori sovereignty. Since the 1970s, he has campaigned for the right to use Māori language in the Courts. Independent candiate for the Te Tai Tokerau electorate in 1999, and for the Te Tai Hauauru by-election in 2004.
