Scott, Tom, 1947-

Tom Scott was born 1947 in England, and migrated to New Zealand with his family. He graduated from Massey University in 1972, and began as a political correspondent for the New Zealand Listener in 1973, illustrating his articles with cartoons. From 1984-1987 he worked for the Auckland Star before becoming the editorial cartoonist for the Evening Post (later the Dominion Post). In addition to his cartooning and journalism, he is a non-fiction writer and playwright. He has also produced documentaries, television programmes, and feature films.
