Tattersall, A J, 1866-1951

Photographer, born in New Zealand, who lived in Samoa for 65 years. Born in Auckland, where he worked as a photographer with Redfern and Tuttle & Co, before going to Samoa at age 19 as assistant to John Davis. Married Blanche (née Yandall) on 13 August 1891, in Samoa. Maintained his own studio in Samoa from 1893 to 1949. Died in Samoa in 1951.
