Ridling, Randolph Gordon, 1888-

Born in Auckland in 1888, the son of Andrew Ridling. Educated in New Zealand and England ending up with an MA and Diploma of Agriculture. Became a teacher and enlisted in World War I. Was injured and became a bombing instructor and received the Albert Medal in 1918. Director of the Technical College in Wellington from 1931 to 1950. Was living in Raglan in 1964.
