Williams, Samuel, 1822-1907

Missionary, farmer, educationalist, pastoralist. Church of England missionary; son of Henry Williams; married cousin Mary Williams. Archdeacon in 1888 and Canon in 1889. Founder of Te Aute College, co-founder of Hukarere College.
