Inconstant (Ship)

A barque that foundered off Pencarrow Head, Wellington Harbour in 1849. The hull was towed into the harbour and John Plimmer (1812-1905) erected a warehouse on its decks, locating it at the water's edge at Clay Point, corner Lambton Quay and Willis Streets
