Sewell, Henry (Hon), 1807-1879

Lawyer, administrator, politician and premier (for two weeks) in 1856. Represented Christchurch 1853-1856 and 1860, and New Plymouth 1865-1866. Involved in the affairs of the Canterbury Association and New Zealand Company, and in 1853 arrived in Canterbury to complete the winding up of the Association.
