Völkner, Carl Sylvius, 1819-1865

Missionary. Born in Hesse-Cassel, Germany. Came to New Zealand in 1847 under the North German Mission Society. Later worked with the Church Missionary Society. Killed at Opotiki. See DNZB (Vol 1, 1769-1869, p566-567)
