Ball, Murray, 1939-2017

Cartoonist and creator of the Footrot Flats series. Syndicated Footrot Flats series ran for 20 years, starting in 1974 and ending ca 1994. Copyright for Footrot Flats owned by Ball's company Diogenes Designs Limited. Co-wrote with Tom Scott THE DOGS TAIL TALE - a full length animated movie. In the early 1970s he drew for Punch magazine in the UK - firstly STANLEY THE PALAEOLITHIC HERO then ALL THE KINGS COMRADES. BRUCE THE BARBARIAN featured in the English periodical 'Labour Weekly'. Died 12 March 2017.
