Taylor, Richard (Rev), 1805-1873

Missionary, naturalist, artist, writer. As a Church Missionary Society minister he came from Sydney to Te Waimate [Waimate North] in 1839, then to Wanganui in 1843, where he served until his death. His son was Rev Basil Taylor.
