Vosseler, Frederick William Gustav, 1878-1959, Vosslar, Mr, 1878-1959

General manager Billiards Ltd, Wellington in 1951. See `Who's who in NZ' 1951. Wrote to about Kapiti Island as a bird sanctuary (Evening post, 3 Mar 1922, p 7) President of the Tararua Tramping Club in 1928. Attended the opening of the Waiopehu Hut, 4 March 1928, built by the Levin-Waiopehu Tramping Club where he was photographed by G L Adkin. Photographed on Kapiti Island with Utauta Webber (née Parata) circa 1910. The Vosseler Shield running race in Wellington is named after him.
