Richmond, William, 1821-1894
Lawyer, politician, judge. Son of Christopher Richmond (1785-1832) and Maria (Lely) Wilson. Brother of Jane Maria Richmond (Atkinson). Barrister of the Middle Temple. Married Emily Elizabeth Atkinson (1829-1906), sister of Arthur Samuel Atkinson, who had married Richmond's sister, Jane Maria. They arrived at New Plymouth together on the "Sir Edward Paget" 1853.
