- Head and shoulders frontal portrait of Frederick Edward Maning, aged 30, probably painted in 1841. He is shown clean-shaven with short curly hair and formal clothing The original drawing was sent by John Webster, Maning's closest Hokianga friend to John Logan Campbell in 1900.
