Inderwick, with an imaginary scene at the diggings, including men panning for gold in the background by a river, and to the left, a tent set up to sell pipes to miners, with further pipes spread on a bank in the right foreground. A pick and shovel in the foreground, and a group cooking over a cauldron and eating and drinking. A-frame dwellings in the background and several trees. The scene could be in America, Australia or New Zealand.
