Tuakau township, photographed by William Archer Price between 1910 and 1930. In the foreground flax fibre is laid out for drying and bleaching. In the middle distance is the railway station are yards, with the township beyond. Identifiable buildings are the Tuakau Hotel, the Creamery (middle distance by tall trees), and Tapper Bros (drapery, etc).
