- Description
The cartoon shows Tariana Turia, Co-leader of the Maori Party, standing in the wreckage of a living room with a rolling pin in her hand. She says to PM John Key that she is so angry about the backflip on ownership of the Ureweras that divorce could result. John Key, who is taking cover behind an upturned table' smiles bravely and says 'Tariana's a great kidder. We've never been happier'. Refers to the u-turn that John Key made over the ownership of the Urewera National Park which he had virtually promised to Tuhoe and his report later that Tariana was 'fine with it'.
