The Alexander Turnbull Library copy lacks the final 4 leaves. Binding: contemporary calf, rebacked. Upper and lower covers blind tooled to a panel design with small tools, single hook-clasp fastening on fore-edge with catch plate on the upper cover, text block sewn on three supports, Latin ms. notes in brown ink on lower pastedown (vellum manuscript waste) consists of part of a letter, addressed to Archdeacon John Gryftida (?), presenting a Cologne cleric, Johannes Buitgenbach (presumably from Bütgenbach, near Liège), to the parish church of Hefingen (Heffingen, Luxembourg?) at his request. Dated 1460, fourth day (month missing). Raised spine bands.

Provenance: formerly owned by the Colin Library, Mt. St. Mary's Seminary, Greenmeadows, Taradale, deposited on permanent loan in the Alexander Turnbull Library by the Society of Mary, December 2001. Leaf a1 crumbling at edges; some browning; prominent stain at lower corners of leaves a7 and a8, leaf 8 repaired in the gutter, the last 5 leaves show a small amount of worming. Acc. 352551.
