The Alexander Turnbull Library SPC copy. Binding: 17th century Dutch vellum over boards, tawed leather supports; gold stamped arms of Leiden on upper and lower covers, (comprising Pallas Athene standing in armour with helmet and lance, she is holding a shield with Leiden coat of arms), with motto " Lugd Bata", blind tooled fillet enclosing gold stamped rampant lions in corners; remains of two alternate pink and white silk ties at fore-edges. Cream watermarked endpapers; red sprinkled text edges. Spine title written in brown ink: D.M. Ausonius cum notis variorum.

The Alexander Turnbull Library SPC copy. Provenance: library shelf mark "9.6.10" at base of spine and on front paste down; bookseller's label on front pastedown "Bohn English & Foreign Bookseller, 17 Henrietta Street, Cov.t Gard.n, London". Correction on leaf *6verso, lines 23 & 24 pasted in. Acc. 363495.
